Static RAM

Read by setting word line = 1, which closes connections at the transistors and sensing bit line, b, voltage

Write by setting word ine = 1 and driving (???) b and b'

The data is retained as long as power is supplied (static)

Compared to DRAM, it's faster but more expensive (6 transistors, 2 x 2 NOT gates + 2 transistors)

Used for cache memory
